Karl Michael Millauer, CEO & MD

Karl Michael combines deep expertise of M&A, project financing and strategic topics with one of the widest industry network

1984

Graduated from the University of Law and the University for Economics in Vienna, Austria
Started his career in Banking, specializing in project financing

2001

CFO roles in various industries before entering the water business in 2001

2005

Became COO of BWT Group and later established and led the Christ Water Technology Group, which went public in late 2005
Revenue growth from 60 to 300 million EUR during his tenure

2008

Joined Aquatech International as Senior Vice President in late 2008, focusing on International Business Development

2013

Founded Aquarion Group in 2013, and joined it as its CEO
Led the acquisition of Hager+Elsässer Group in 2014

2020

Founded KMM Consulting in mid-2020, focusing on M&A and capital raising mandates and leveraging his extensive industry network
